Uniform Requirements - All Napier Intermediate uniforms can be purchased from NZ Uniforms http://www.nzuniforms.com or 819 Heretaunga Street West, Hastings which stocks our full school uniform.
There is a second-hand uniform sale held in late January. Second-hand uniform can be purchased from the school office if stock is available. Girls Summer: Skirt: Plaid, box pleat skirt or Skort Top: Fitted white cotton, short sleeved blouse. Sweatshirt: Navy crew neck (non-hooded) monogrammed style and/or navy blue polo fleece Footwear: Black shoes either lace or strap style OR blue or black roman sandals without socks. (Not sports shoes) Socks: Long white socks or white ankle sock. No bands or stripes Headbands: Plain navy blue or white headbands may be worn. Hats: A blue bucket hat is compulsory in Term 1 and Term 4 Phys.Ed: Unisex uniform. Shirt: PE tee-shirt with school monogram. Shorts: Navy blue shorts. Swimwear: Proper swimming costumes must be worn. One piece bathing costumes are preferred. Bikinis and very revealing swimwear are not acceptable. Girls Winter: Skirt: as for Summer. Top: as for Summer – a white tank top, singlet or white merino undergarments can be worn for extra warmth. Sweatshirt: Navy crew neck (non-hooded) monogrammed and/or polo fleece jacket. Footwear: Black lace or strap shoes, not sports shoes. Socks: White knee/ankle length (no coloured bands or stripes). Navy or black tights are also acceptable. Navy rain jacket Boys Summer: Shirts: Sky blue, short sleeved shirt. Shorts: Navy blue drill. Sweatshirt: Navy crew neck (non-hooded) monogrammed style and/or navy fleece jacket Footwear: Blue or black sandals without socks, or black leather shoes with black school socks with two blue bands or plain black ankle socks (no coloured bands or stripes). Phys.Ed: Unisex uniform Shirt: PE tee-shirt Shorts: Navy blue ALL STUDENTS: Hair: Natural hair colour- fringe not below the eyebrows and if the hair is shoulder length then it must be tied up with a blue, black or brown hair tie or small scrunchy. Plain black, blue, clear or brown hair claws may also be worn. Navy blue or black scarves and gloves may be worn, to and from school on cold days. *Optional: Navy blue polar fleece half zip jacket SCHOOL SPORTS UNIFORMS: Members of school sports teams will be expected to dress themselves in a manner appropriate to the activity of their choice. The school will help by hiring out sports uniforms for Saturday sports or for special occasions such as school exchanges.
