Napier Intermediate 2026 Enrolment Timeline
 
Step 1: Enrolment Packs & Out of Zone Applications

• Week 3, Term 3 – Enrolment information emailed to parents.  Applications are open Now!
• Friday 5th September – Out of Zone enrolments close at 2.30pm.
• Wednesday 17th September – Ballot held for Out of Zone applications (if needed).
• Friday 19th September – Placement offers sent to successful Out of Zone applicants

Step 2: Meet Napier Intermediate

• Open Evening:  Wednesday 20th August, 5:30–7:00pm – You and your child are invited to visit the school.
• Optional:
  • Book a one-on-one visit.
  • Request an interview to discuss your child's needs and placement.

 
Step 3: Collaboration with Your Child’s School

• If needed:
  • Napier Intermediate may speak with your child’s Year 6 teacher.
  • Test data from your child’s current school will be shared with us.

 
Step 4: After Acceptance

• Week 10, Term 3 – Acceptance letters are sent out.
• Optional: Further interviews available on request.
• Regular updates:
  • Newsletters emailed.
  • December – Getting Ready for 2026 newsletter.
  • January – HERO app notifications with Day 1 information and reminders.
